CamelToe Racing had a ridiculous race at Silverstone. Earl is on vacation, as usual, Toe was standing next to track while Shaka was fighting a damaged car and Jens was driving his lawn moaner (above).
Oh crap! I was overdriving the car since race started. Tried to be nice with those Morons, slowed down instead of flying past Tib and got hit by Mario. He used his C6 as red shell on my Stang and dang, he went by. I overdrove the car as much as I could, lapped much faster than it could and still finished second to him on Feature Race. Then came sprint, where Tib and I traded door paints and I spun him around, waited for him, drove a faultfull race but still managed to catch and beat him on last lap to secure another second place. I'm still not leading the tournament and that makes me angry. Only one win out of 5 races? UNNACEPTABLE! GRRRRR
That is more or less what I had expected for the weekend. I wasn't quite sure if my ride to the track would show up. Luckily the taxi knew a shortcut to the track and I was able to just make it in time for qualifying. Which wouldn't have mattered to miss as my setup was really holding me back. Surprised to see them Tomato Lickers get some wins.
As for the racing, had some contact with Mr. Tib at the same corner twice and had to wait for him to get underway. This caused some confusion behind but nothing I could do. Kept it going and picked up some valuable points, more then I expected for the weekend. Sprint race ended short for me when I got the message from the engineer, "Please pit in, turkey dinner is ready and on the table."
