A race to forget. That's the way Williams Grand Prix Engineering is facing the Castlevania Combo race last night.

Shaka (driver): It was a unpleasant feeling to have such a bad crash. I broke 21 fingers, 14 ribs and 3 legs when my FW-14D suffered yet another gearbox gremlin. I've been having those problems since Season 01 as part of my agreement with Thrustmaster to suppy shifting paddles. Unfortunately I don't "trust" them anymore so I may have to seek a new supplier. I've had enough of this and this time it's hurting bad...

As for the races, I had nice battles with Dave including a X maneuvre he applied on me and surely deserved his wins. As for Pippo, I had bad collision with him on Feature race, he seeming to be badly affected by jetleg having flown from Australia to Bahrain, then Australia and Castle Combe, all in less than a week. Dave was also nice giving me a push after I crashed bad trying to put me nearer to the medical car, but the hospital was just too far away and I had to wait around 3 hours to see a doctor, and that could have been worse if not for the FD Chopper. I think it's time for the FD Management enforce a pipe warp straight to hospital...

Frank Xavier (Team Owner): This race was not what we expected following the withdraw of all our points after the Albert Park race. Shaka did a good job in putting a strong effort on laptimes but in the end the win was not ours. He is working with our engineers to find a solution for his gearbox problems at the moment.

Patrick Gilmour (Team Principal): We had the raw pace to win both races, but to finish first, first you have to finish. Shaka tried his best to keep up with Dave, who was in a truly inspiring night and was flawless thoughout the weekend. The car was written off after the crash, having sustained too much damage to be repaired. Thankfully we have a twin chassis ready on the factory we were planning to introduce by next round, but I guess it won't be possible before the GT leg of this tournament. Dave's pace was remarkable
