A very tough event for our brave duudes. It all started in FP, when tib managed the best time, using soft tyres on the the dry track.

When qualy started, however, a monsoon took over the scottish track, making every setup made on FP useless. During qualy it was Shaka's turn to shine, grabbing the pole with a fantastic lap, almost 2s faster than second placeman tib.

Feature race started with heavy rain, and our duudes went on under bad weather for a boring race. Shaka took over the lead over the first few laps, while tib held second place, maintaing a good distance from liz and dave, who were battling for third position. tib served his DT early on a different strategy, to try to capitalize on getting to know the conditions of the track later on. Shaka however was flying on the wet, lapping faster and faster each time, while tib had his share of problems, spinning and losing time. Meanwhile Dave made contact with the walls and had to stop for repairs, leaving Liz alone in the third place.

And so it was, Shaka was able to finish 2 laps ahead, which finished 4 laps ahead of Lizard and Dave finished 3 laps behind Liz.

The weather was much better for the sprint race, Dry track, sun shining and 4 duudes ready to rock. Secondplaceman tib was able to rocket launch into 1st position on the green light, grabbing a vital early lead on the race, Shaka held second place, dispite contact with Lizard and Dave followed shortly. At the end of the first lap, Dave miscalculated the temp of his tyres and spun and crashed out at the main straight, leaving tib, Shaka and Liz, in that order. Shortly after, Liz had some issues that took him out of the race aswell. Up front, Shaka and tib were banging wheels for the first position, with the Magic driver being up to 2s faster per lap, but unable to make the move. When he finally did managed to get around tib, he overshot the corner, which put his gold car into a spin, allowing tib to regain the position. The difference between them stayed in half a second, when they both crossed the line, in that order.

Shaka was able to capitalize on the rain and scored a important 2nd place on the sprint race, maintaing a good lead in the championship.

And now, it's back to ovals!
