Lotus F1 Team's Shaka won the Laguna Seca Feature race last night to score his first victory of the season. Moments later he joined the track for the Sprint race just to repeat his feat, scoring the fastest lap on both ocasions. A cleansweep by Lotus F1 Team on their first effort as official FormulaDuude contender.

Lotus F1 team now has 18 points, just 9 behind series leader Scuderia Libra. FD stewards ruled against adding previous team points to team tally, making it a harder task to grab constructors championship 1st stop, while Shaka got ahead of Tib by 2 points following his excelent performance.

Shaka: "I'm extremely happy for me and the team. After a dismal weekend at Brands Hatch we were afraid of another epic fail here, but the car was fantastic out of box. We had a strong start at Feature, keeping the lead and never losing it. The race was actually harder than it looked as we experienced fuel related problems. I don't know exactly what happened, but I had to save a HUGE amount of fuel just to make it to the finish line, running out of petrol a couple of corners later. Sprint race start was a bad one and I lost the lead to Tib, managing to make a bold overtaking maneuvre moments later. From there on a few light mistakes, but nothing that could be considered a threat to the victory. Thank you, guys!"

Hugh Laurie: "Perfect. Everybody lies, including the useless mechanic that miscalculated the fuel we needed to finish Feature race. Shaka saved a lot of asses by saving as much fuel as he could, but I have to fire someone for that, and that means putting the blame on one person. I'm not keen on that, so I'm gonna be fair: the whole pitcrew will be fired unless they do 2h of fuel practise everyday starting yesterday. Apart from that, Shaka delivered what we ordered, so he's safe. For now."
