Mapua Racing was extremely glad to hear that they were officially accepted to be part of the new Formula Duude Season. Mapua Racing has released the following statement.

It is good to hear that our qualifications as an engineering team and as a racing team was enough such that the Formula Duude Council has accepted our entry into the championship. In lieu of this, we would like to introduce to you the man who will be driving our car for the championship, none other than Pippo. He is an extremely quick and talented driver but has yet to find his feet in this level of competition. We hope that we can build a good and strong partnership with him and develop a combination of championship winning car and championship winning driver.

FD Spies has also been able to see the new car and team in action in a top (gear) secret test track with what appears to be a German car. The team ran a sponsor-less car painted in a yellow-orange scheme. FD Spies were also able to get firsthand photographs of the 10 lap shakedown.
