CamelToe Racing left Interlagos leading the Constructors' Standings and with its two drivers leading the Drivers' Standings. But a bittersweet result, a mixed feeling... a sort of cameltomato result was felt at the paddock.

Championship leader up until this race, Jensklemp was held in customs. His pre-approved excuse is "I was out on a date", but truth is he was held captive by brazilian natives:

Forced to sit out of yesterday's races, CamelToe's hopes were put on Shaka's shoulders.

With a blitzing lap at Qualifying, Shaka posted the pole position twice, scoring the extra point. Race start saw him disappear on the horizon, leaving both Tomatoes in the dust. Until a mistake at Curva do Sol dropped him 5s behind Mansell with 10 laps to go. He fought hard his worn hard tyres and by the end of penultimate lap, when within 1s of his rival, he inherited the lead when Mustache ran out of juice. He duly won the race 1 lap ahead of Mansell, while Tib was abducted by evil forces and was never seen again.

Sprint race started with a real nice 3 way battle for the lead, culminating in the Camel driver taking the lead after some scraps and battles. But then another mistake, this time at Juncao, dropped him to 3rd. Tomatoes played team play to perfection and got the best of him, with Tib winning the race 1.3s ahead of Mansell, less than 0.1s ahead of Shaka who finished at his side. Shaka stated that both mistakes were due to overheating front tyres. Despite using the harder compound available, telemetry shows temps were over 125c for most of the races.

With feature race win + pole position + fastest lap + sprint race 3rd, Shaka gathered 26 points for the CamelToes, keeping the team leading the standings and leapfrogged his Canadian teammate, enjoying a 19 points lead now.
