Official: Scuderia Shaka withdraws from FormulaDuude!
Scuderia Shaka issued a press release this morning that reads as follows:
"Following our dismal weekend on Brands Hatch the powers that be decided to pull the plug on our operation. Despite having won previous championship the team was sold to an unkown group of investors this morning, money coming from Malaysian government as it seems. Fortunately most of our staff including team principal and driver will be kept by new owners.
As a sign of early promise 1Malaysia FD Team already put their new Lotus car on Laguna Seca track for a shakedown prior to next race in 3 days. We truly wish this new team can keep the morale high and fight back!
