FD's newest new comer, The Mapua Racing Team, was disappointedly satisfied with the result they were able to achieve in the first race of the year. Their driver, Pippo, was able to finish 3rd and last in both races but said that this was nothing more than valuable racing experience and growing pains. The Mapua Racing Team have released this statement.

We are disappointedly satisfied with the result we were able to achieve in the first race of this year.

The highlight of the round came during the first laps of the races when Pippo was able to beat everyone into the first corner with 2 rocket starts off the line. His smaller, nimbler Porsche was able to kill its wheel spin almost immediately and pounce on the Ferraris. However, first lap errors on cold tires also sealed his fate. Despite this, competitors, expectators, commentators, vendors, raptors, rotators, and even Mightor was impressed with how he was able to do such a launch. They have since asked the Filipino to teach them how he did it.

The car was just good off the line. I was able to kill the wheel spin almost immediately and the torque took over really. Its just a shame that I made errors on both races on the same corner. I think that corner has an issue with cold tires as the back end just unloaded and round I went. It was more interesting on the the sprint race as I was able to catch up the two leaders after the spin but the Porsche was just that bit behind he Ferraris in the horsepower department and I just couldnt get pass. Its valuable racing experience for me. These machines are just so much more powerful than the lawnmowers I used to race. Im looking forward for the next race in Australia.

On another front, one of the unknowns in the team has been answered. The Organiztional Structure have been determined because of the faces at the pitlane this past week. The Mapua Racing Team Boss looks to be that guy in the an interdmensional chamber, named Zordon. Not much is known about Zordon, but he does know what to do at certain times. The Technical Director appears to be Alpha 5 with Tommy Oliver serving as primary race engineer for Pippo and the team spokesman is Rito Rivolto. The later has also revealed that the brains behind their car design was a couple named Zedd and Rita, who were back at the factory designing upgrades for the car. Rito also revealed that because of technical limitations, they couldnt make the monster grow.
