Exciting times at an old track. With the qualify taking place during the pouring rain that is common on this part of England, tib manage to take home the pole. And for the pole sitter the races were happy, he clinched both wins, while Shaka was struggling with his gearbox problems, still managed to score both best laps.

The championship has now become a tighter race for the win.

The weekend took off on a very wet and slippery track for qualifying session. Both drivers completed 5 laps, Shaka going for one out and four timed laps, while tib went out twice, with a different tire choice later that proved crucial to set the pole position. Both drivers felt they could have gone much quicker, but mistakes prevented that. The pole position (and bonus point) was awarded to tib.

Feature race was very exciting with both drivers running nose for the first half of the race, tib being fastest around sectors 1 an 2, losing valuable time at the last chicane to Shaka, who carried 55kg of weight penalty. For the first time ever both drivers served their drive through on the same lap too. In the end tib managed to extend his lead and Shaka started suffering gearbox issues that costed him dearly with a few spins. tib won the race, Shaka set the fastest lap by a small margin.

Sprint race saw Shaka jumping ahead of tib and staying there for a short period of time before gearbox gremlins appear again, putting him on a spin that resulted in a collision between these two FormulaDuude contenders. tib got ahead and set a pace that secured him the victory, while Shaka had nothing else to lose and set off to get another fast lap point.
