Total dominance from jens, once again, and once again at a French track.

The Le Mans event started with a night time qualifying session, which saw Jens dominate, doing a 3.28 lap, to grab the pole, while Shaka and tib were over 3.33.

Race started and as expected Jens started to clear from the "field", mean while, Shaka took off from tib, and they were going as so, through the first lap, but at Indianapolis corner, Shaka made a mistake and tib caught up with him, going side by side through the first Porsche corner, until the Libra driver came up ahead, but a little mistake on the last corner before the Ford esses and the Magic driver was ahead on the brake for the Esses, BUT he too made a mistake, and tib took back second place, in a very busy first lap, for both drivers.

Tib payed his DT at the end of Lap 3, the first of the window, meanwhile Shaka went on and caught second place back, at the end of Lap 4, tib had to pay a 10s stop and go penalty, for pit lane speeding, and left the pits around 39s behind Shaka. But after a couple of mistakes during the laps , Shaka had sustained too much damage to his Audi machine.  Losing a lot of time per lap, things got during Lap 5 , after Shaka payed his DT, and left the pits ahead of tib, but barely.

At the end of Lap 7, the two drivers were already pretty close, about 3s keeping them apart, then, again at the Indianapolis corner, Shaka spun, and tib got pretty close, around 1s, on Lap 8, they were side by side on the end of the Mulsanne straight. And so, the two battled, all the way up to Lap 9, when at the first Mulsanne chicane, a little misbraking by Shaka, let tib slip by just enough to pull away without losing the 2nd place again.

And you might ask, where is jens? At the end of the race, about 1.46 MINUTES ahead of tib and Shaka.

Pretty dominant race for jens, and pretty busy for the rest of the "field".

Such is the power of the legendary Le Mans track, and with this event concluded, the Le Mans curse is broken, FD HAS raced at Le Mans!
