The 1991 season was one of the first, if not THE first, carset I put together for GP2 in the late 1990s. Through some luck and digital hoarding, the original carset file was still lying on one of my hard disks, and also available online at GrandPrix2.de
For this experiment I ran vanilla GP2 with the modded carshape on a DOS emulator, but didn't ran the 1991 calendar for one simple reason: I didn't remember how to put on new tracks. Oh gosh, that's embarrassing... But anyway...
The experiment was so funny that one thing led to another, and this whole section dedicated to GP2 was born. The season itself was nail-biting, with Senna and Mansell separated by just a handful of points with two races to go, and some incredible coincidences. Just check what happened to Mansell on the Brazilian Grand Prix, both in real life and in this simulated season.
