Why does a magnificent British GT machine with a V12 heartbeat decide to disintegrate its front suspension before the field has even finished admiring the Eau Rouge scenery? Aston Martin Akasaka DBR9 issued a press release this morning that reads as follows:
Lord Windgrace (Chief Technical Overseer): The team was harmed by these actions. Following an exhaustive telemetry review overseen by our spiritual consultant Shivan Dragon—who tapped three swamps and sacrificed a stray badger for mana—we wish to clarify that Fernando Horta's car #21 did not suffer a mechanical failure. Rather, the front suspension was simply targeted by an instant-speed removal spell cast by rival forces in the paddock. We are currently holding counter-spells in reserve for the next round and demand that the ElderCouncil taps out immediately to pay for our emotional damages. No further questions will be answered unless paid in black mana.
Editor's note: Subsequent investigations revealed that the only spell cast on car #21 was Fernando forgetting how to brake for La Source while daydreaming about a cold Brahma.
Ps. Pippo
