Ian Jolicoeur won the ten-lap race at Sebring International Raceway with a total time of 0:15:12.627.
Ten laps around the bumpy concrete of Sebring require mechanical sympathy, precise braking zones, and a stomach capable of handling constant vertical oscillations. The field of fourteen GT cars completed the distance without significant administrative interference, though the gap between the leaders illustrated the varied approaches to the circuit's notorious surface transitions.
Ian Jolicoeur drove his Rahal Letterman Racing BMW E92 M3 GTR to the top step of the podium, setting a fastest lap of 1:27.591 along the way. Martin Chevrier finished second in the Multimatic Motorsport Panoz Esperante GTLM, crossing the line 11.455 seconds behind the winner after holding off Eric Marecki's Audi R8 GT3 LMS. Marecki claimed the final podium position, finishing 17.067 seconds adrift of the leading BMW.
Mitch Vamos brought his Viper home in fourth, followed by Marty Uren in the second Rahal Letterman BMW. Eiran Parsons, Chris Durand, Roy Simmons, Andrew Werner, and Jon Wathen rounded out the top ten. Johnny Lugnuts, Gilles Chevrier, and Vincent Loi completed the classified finishers.
Fernando Horta did not complete a single lap in the Chevrolet Corvette C6-R GT2, registering a DNF before the field reached the first braking zone. Trackside observers noted that Fausto Silva, guest-managing the pit box for the afternoon, spent the duration of the start trying to explain a Sunday afternoon audit while eating a stale coxinha.
Fausto Silva (Guest Team Principal): "Olha isso! You spend forty minutes talking about transfer windows and parking tickets, and the car doesn't even move! É uma vergonha!"
Alan Donatellofson (Crew Chief): "The engine started. That was roughly the extent of the operational plan."
Correction: An earlier version of this report stated that Ian Jolicoeur was driving a tractor equipped with aftermarket spoilers. He was, in fact, driving a BMW M3 GTR.
