WHAT A RACE! UNBELIEVABLE SCENES AT SEBRING! Starting all the way back from 19th on the grid, Fernando Horta put on a masterclass of absolute, unadulterated speed, carving through a 30-car traffic jam like a hot knife through airport butter to take a stunning overall victory in the #63 Chevrolet Corvette C6-R GT2! Seven laps of pure, high-octane madness around the bumpy Florida tarmac culminated in a winning total time of 0:15:12.519, leaving P2 finisher Vlado Kenats and his Panoz trailing by nearly seven seconds.
Horta set the timing screens on fire with a blistering 2:04.711 best lap, out-pacing the entire field while his crew chief, a literal Akroma, Angel of Wrath ($3WWWW for a 6/6 flying, first strike, trample, vigilance, protection from black and from red beast), stood on the pit wall glaring at every Ferrari in sight and threatening to smite the entire timekeeping department.
Vlado Kenats held strong from pole position to secure second in the Multimatic Panoz, while Marty Uren dragged his Rahal Letterman BMW E92 M3 to the final step of the podium in third, just ahead of Mike Scott's Sun-Red Racing SR21.

(Barry Cade - Paddock Gossip): Fernando, starting 19th at Sebring usually means getting collected by a GT1 Aston Martin before you reach Turn 1. How did you survive?
Horta: Honestly, I just closed my eyes, planted my right foot through the floorboard, and let Akroma handle the divine intervention.
(Ella Vator - Lift Times): Vlado, you led from pole for almost the whole distance until the Corvette materialized out of the ether. Disappointed?
Vlado Kenats: Look, when a winged angel starts casting judgment on the back straight, there is very little a Panoz can do about downforce.
