Sprint race was also eventful,and another exciting moments, and somewhat worrying happened, once Shaka and Tib made contact on Lap 6, the car of the SLT team Team (redundant redundancy) went airborne into a massive crash, that ended the race for the Italiruguayan team. Shaka had receive a DQ penalty for his move on the only black car on the track. After Pippo crashed his MC12 into the Safer Barriers, Mansell was able to cruise to 2nd place, 34s behind of the race winner Dave.
