It's not a secret that the FD04 season will be the first to feature an open-wheeler car to be raced by the duudes. The new model, cleverly named FD04.OW is almost ready, the design is done, and the build of the prototype model is going at great speeds.

The model was designed by Andrea Moda, in a partnership with Orange Computers and IPhony. It will only cost about 10000Mesetas for the teams to own the full package, which is reported to include a variety of options, such as suit colors and helmet and livery liberty to paint their own. The car uses the old GoodYear Eagle tyre models, but the designers painted a red stripe on the tyre, because "it's-a-cool!" according to them, and it's a know fact that racing stripes, makes the car goes faster.

We, at the Official and only FD website, got these exclusive preview shots of the car, while we wait for the official release of this master piece. The shots were taken on a untypical Donington Park morning, as the weather was clear and not forecast. We can see the car being pushed over to start by a Marshall and we can see it uses a MoMo wheel on this prototype stage, we do not have any information on performance so far.
