Following reports that first emerged last week, Williams FormulaDuude Team confirms the departure from FD. The team issued this press release minutes ago:

Frank Williams (team owner): We are withdrawing from FormulaDuude following a mixed season. The team fought hard, tried hard and died hard, but in the end Libra took both titles and we felt we missed something. The decision to hire a second driver was a correct one, but we failed to capitalize on the choice of our GT challenger, the FW-15E never really suiting our drivers. By the time we had a normal race to evaluate the machinery, it was too late to redesign the car and the title was lost. We are heading back to Formula One, a smaller series where we can regroup and find our feet again. Shaka, unfortunately, declined the offer to stick with us and we wish him all the best.

Shaka (driver): Obviously things didn't work out the way we wanted, and seeing Tib crowned Champion hurt me a lot. He surely did his job and deserved the win, but I couldn't help feeling "what if...". I'll stick with FD Championship for at least another season and a new entrant already summoned me. I hope we can gather the strenght needed to achieve our goals.

Rubens Barrichello (new Williams driver): I'm faster than Stig! And no-one radioed me threatening to kill my puppy if I didn't ease off on the last corners of TGTT! Schumaacher, viaaado.
