BATTLE FOR SURVIVAL.

Probably and Ironically, the shortest race of the FD history was held at Long Bitch, which tonight could be called Short Bitch.

Feature race started with Pole-Sitter tib, seeing his victory chances going down the drain,when he jumped started the race, midway through the first lap, he made contact with Lizard and more importantly with the wall, which rendered him a punctured tyre, Shaka also made contact with the wall and too collected damages to his Williams, between the 98s pitstop for Shaka, the 10s stop-and-go penalty for tib and the 105s pit for tib, it seemed that the race was settled, but in lap 3, Shaka made another contact with the wall and his car was unable to continue the race. So Lizard was leading 3 laps over tib. When the leader LSS driver paid his Drive-through, tib recovered a lap, and so it stay from laps 4 to 15, when Lizard made a mistake and crashed his car, being unable to continue, with only 2 laps to go, for him. Being the only car remaining in the race, tib only had to cruise for victory. A weird victory for him.

With all the damages fixed, debris collected from the track, the duudes aligned for the Sprint Race. tib was on pole, and after holding a aggressive start from Lizard, was able to finish Lap 1 on 1st, followed by Lizard and Shaka. On lap 2, Lizard had a technical problem and had to retire. And on Lap 4, Shaka had a gearbox blow-up, that obliged him to retire from the race, and again, being the only car remaining in the race, tib was awarded 1st place, with only 4 laps completed.

The championship run is open, and it will be decided on July 1st, at the Sebring Endurance Race. So, we'll see you there, on the closure of a great Formula Duuuuuuuuude Season.
