Shaka (driver): Fantastic! I can't believe I finally won the Monaco Grand Prix! After so many years, being back to the circuit where I first won in 1989 is a special thing, a dream come true. Qualifying was hard, I was once again carrying 100kg ballast penalty for my super duper performances early on and started third on the grid. Right before the lights turned green I almost jumped the start, released the clutch slightly earlier and quickly reacted, but my start was not as fast as it should have been.

On lap 4 my race was nearly over, I locked the brakes exiting the tunnel and slightly missed the apex of the Chicken there. Race steward Jack  Eeks granted me a 10-second stop/go penalty. SoB! Anyway, the first third of the race was OK, I was trying to keep the gap to tib and Jens as low as possible, while still keeping Lizard at bay until he retired. On lap 14 Jens made a bad mistake and dropped further down the field, I started chasing tib, who was 6.5s ahead. By lap 18 I was leading the race until we stopped for fuel, tib and I, on lap 23. I took the gamble of not changing my tyres, that saved me 20s on the stop, finishing the first lap out of pits 31s ahead of him.

Definitely it was a wise decision, tib was faster overall and putting that much advantage over him made him turn his revs down and stop chasing me. After the pit my tyres were shot and I lost massive grip everywhere, spun and crashed on the barriers countless times and only won by the fact he slowed down thanks to my seemingly huge advantage.

I feel sorry for Lizard, who was trapped in the pits by his crew and specially Jens, who raced most of the time a 3 wheeler car as his team doesn't know how to put a tyre once it is gone.

Thanks to all the in race and post race crashes, our car was written-off after the race we didn't even bring it back to the factory. All in all a great result for the championship, a 46 points advantage over current champion tib before we move to larger machineries. Our MtGFD AR-15 Assault Rifle is ready to rock!
