The FormulaDuude Mario World Sport Duuuuuude Counsil has just released the following statement regarding the Stewardgate at Monza:

Following a long discussing and having heard all the parties involved, The FDMWSDC reached the following decision:

- The Scuderia Libra driver was penalised with a number of stop/go and drive through penalties for cutting the track, incurring on a breach of the "Driver Etiquettte" paragraph of The Rulebook;

- The Stewards issued these decisions based on a premise that every driver out of track is cutting it if not applying full brakes;

- The Scuderia Libra provided telemetry data showing that despite not applying full brakes their driver tried to stop the car, lost time and therefore was not cutting the track;

The Counsil decides:

1- to suspend the Stewards who issued several penalties on Monza race;

2- agree that Mr. Tib was unfairly penalised and those penalties were a breach of The Rulebook;

3- Scuderia Libra presented their appeal fifteen seconds past the deadline for appealing, therefore the appeal is to be rejected;

4- No further action will be taken.
