The Scuderia has scored both wins at Spa, and is now back on the top of the standings of Formula Duude, after such a sucessful outing, FD Official Website got to talk with some of their personnel.

Driver tib :

It was a very exciting race. Scoring both wins on a track that is usually dominated by the raw pace of Shaka is something very unique.  The new car showed that it can do very well on such a difficult and challenging circuit, which is something that we are really glad for, because this stage of the championship is going to be very tough. The raw pace of the black Farreri was good enough, it was only 2s slower than Shaka's Williams, which is just like we predicted. So we are still in the programme.

The race itself was very fun, feature was really tough.  Even though i started better than Shaka, i had to make a split-second decision to dive or not to dive into his side by Eau Rouge, i decided to lift and wait for Le Combes to make a move, but he misjudged the cold tyres and went wide, so i was able to get P1 right on the exit of EauRouge. From there it was a game of cat and mouse with Shaka, with the splits going a little bit on my favor then a little bit on his favor, and so on. I decided to do a different strategy from our usual, and only paid my DT on Lap7, Shaka decided to follow me, i suppose ? Which was VERY uncreative of his, by the way. But in the end, he had some weird trouble with his car, and i was able to cruise to the VictoryLane.

Sprintrace was fun too. I was able to start better again and i won the race to EauRouge. Then i had a little battle with Shaka, i blocked him on a corner, than the did a beautiful pass at Les Combes. Since i was glued to the inside, i had to brake earlier, to be able to reach the appex at the right speed, and he was able to make a move on the outside. But he lost it at Pouchon, so i was able to take back the lead and just cruise until the end.

I have to thank the team, for building this car for me. It was pretty well balanced throughout both races, and i didn't had a single problem with it.

It feels so weird to actually do something right, for once, and outside of 'nam. God, it was hot back then, i can still feel the sweat down my neck, we were surrounded and without ammo, but me and my men would not.. -- sorry, i mean, winning is so good. I hope we can keep it up like this.
