Lotus F1 Team wishes apologize with their fans for taking too long to talk about last week's race. Our driver was immediately taken to a hospital where he had medical checks throughout the weekend and we were waiting for him to get a green light from doctors.

Shaka: “I can't remember what happened. Ok, I do remember. I had a great start at Feature race but was taken out by Tib's new unofficial teammate on the first corner, thus handing my main opponent the lead. On the following lap I forced him into a mistake between corners 8-9, making him lose the first hood of the day and pulling the overtaking move on the outside of turn 10. Later on I served my drive through and Rodrigo was my next target until he emulated Tib's effort and crashed on the same spot, losing the day's second hood. To make it a 3 out of 3, I too crashed there later and lost mine as well.

Sprint race was a bit more complicated, I had a few moments and lost the lead to Tib until he took himself out of contention, giving it back to me. In the end I was caught by Rodrigo and nearly lost to him. All in all, my second double of the championship gave Lotus F1 Team the Constructor's Championship lead for the first time ever!”
