As usual, it was hot, umid, steaming and exciting. No, we're not talking about a night out with the girl from the previous post, we are talking about the Sepang race for FormulaDuude.
It was a clash of titans on the twisty corners of the Sepang circuit, in the town of Kuala Lumpur, which is in Malaysia.

Shaka and Jens scored wins, while it was a very close call for Mansell in the MLT machine.

The qualify started with the usual malaysian weather making it's way in the track, which were VERY wet. Jens was the driver who took advantage of the bad weather, and stormed (pun intented) to the pole position, with an amazing lap. Followed by Shaka whom put up a good advantage over Mansell. The SR21 proved to be the car to be beaten on this track. While the MLT Viper had the upper hand on the long back straight. Tib was missing, from reasons still to be explained.

Feature race started in dry conditions, which took pole sitter jens by surprise. With a wet race setup, he fell victim of his strategy for the race, and soon was overtook by team mate Shaka and rival Mansell. The duo battled their way through the first stint, changing positions in a very exciting and clean race. Without gizmos as DRS (DeRp System) or KERS (Kick on Extrasensitive RegionS) it was a old-fashion, analog, wheel to wheel battle.
Shaka was the first to pit, followed by both Mansell and Jens one lap later. After the pits, it was Shaka, followed by Mansell and Jens. But soon this was to change. With it's overheating tyres, Shaka started to lose ground to a charging Mustache, which made his move and took the lead with 2 laps to go. Followed close by Jens, Shaka managed to stay in front.
However, when it's meant to be, it's meant to be, and about half a lap to go, Mansell's Viper ran out of poison, switched to the reserve tomato juice tank, but it choked on the vegetarian diet and came to a halt in the middle of last lap. So, it was Shaka who took the win, followed by Jens, Mansell and tib, who was on another timezone (or hiding in the pits, we still don't know).

Sprint race started with a BIG surprise. Tib showed his ugly beautiful face. So 4 dudes started the race for 6 laps.
First lap was confuse, with contacts and rubbin on T1, with jens and Shaka trading CamelPaint, Shaka and tib touching and the "radaxian" driver putting the brazilian to a spin. After waiting for him, it was a race to catch Jens. Who did finish the first lap in first and managed to stay first until the end. Followed by Mansell, Shaka who couldn't catch Mansell in the short race, and tib, who was pretty much on another timezone, with his Ferrari crawling around the track, like a slug.

The main thing was to see, that Mansell can place his red mustache in the middle of the two camels, but a lesson was learned today. Camels drink less than Vipers, and that's was the main factor for the results.

Next week, the teams fly all the way back to the legendary Silverstone (old-layout) where different cars, more hot chicks and even better racing is expected. Stay tuned.
