Albert Park - Race Results
Split wins at Albert Park. After a very confusing and technically challenged Qualify, Pippo managed to score the pole position, in a session where only half of the field managed to complete times. After more technical issues, the feature race started, with a 20 minute delay, and no phaser or distortion.
Tib managed to win the feature race, after a double contact with Shaka on the last lap. It was all down to the last corner, yet again, this time the Libra driver, was able to maintain his position and finish first.
The sprint race started with a rocketing start from Pippo, with the Mapua driver ending the first lap with over 4s over the 2nd placer tib. Then Shaka starting to put pressure on tib, which resulted in a nice battle between the two veterans, and a beautiful pass by the current champion, which then charged into Pippo for the lead.
After some problems, Pippo lost the 2nd position for tib, finishing in that order.
