Scuderia Libra has issued the following statement after yesterday's race at Monza.

The Scuderia is deeply disappointed with the actions took by race stewards on the events of Rounds 17 & 18 of Formula Duude Season 02, we believe that the team was harmed by these actions and we are entering a formal protest in the SMWMSC (Super Mario World MotorSport Council) to have these actions reviewed. Until the council reaches a decision, we will stay out of the public eye and will take no part in any official FD media events. Such events are harmful for the sport and harmful for fans, which are our main concern, the team made a major investment into the sport this week, aquiring new parts to provide our driver better control, and in the debut of such parts, the stewards punished the driver without a reason.

Driver tib was quoted saying :

It was a disappointing race, for sure. We had the new parts, and we wanted to win, more than ever. The full grid was a exciting reason for us to invest even harder in winning. But we haven't got a steady pace that was fast enough for winning, it happens, unfortunately. And now the championship is slipping away at the last race, just like the previous season, i hope to be able to win both races at Suzuka, but unfortunately, that is not enough.
About the punishments, well, yeah, i think they were uncalled for. I missed the chicane, i didn't cut the track on purpose. But shit happens, we have to just shake the dust and move on, because we have to focus on the racing. As a driver, i can't partake in such dramas, so i will just focus and drive.
About the accident on the sprint race, i think it was a little bit of recklessy driving from Shaka's part, but he also ruined his race, and said he was sorry. I don't hold a grudge against him, i just want to win, and i know it's the same from his side, so it's not a problem at all.

Team Manager Akuma Gouki was clearly irritated with the stewards, even murdered a couple of them, just to vent off.
