After 4 disappointing races, Williams Grand Prix is back on the winning course!

Shaka: Well, it was a fantastic weekend. For the first time since FD01 everything worked according to the plan. We made the slower-but-safer automatic gearbox work well, meaning I had zero issues with unplanned shifts over the races. The first one was a bit dull, but I enjoyed lapping tib. It was a kind of payback for the massive win he scored on me at Montreux, a track I love. The Sprint Race was more fun, tib had the upper hand for the first half of the race and once I got past him it was only a matter of finishing the race... something I nearly couldn't do! My mechanics screwed up on strategy and I started the last lap with 1 litre of gas on my tank, when I needed 1.5litres for a normal lap. Thankfully I saw that at the very moment I started the last lap and could do the last tour on 6th gear, with a nearly dead engine, only to win the race by less than 2 seconds and run out of petrol moments after that. Thanks for everyone, the team was fantastic! Congratulations Dave who also drove two strong races. This guy is improving and we're watching him closely...

Patrick: From a technical point, the races were virtually perfect. We asked Shaka to try a few new components but he didn't want, saying the auto gearbox was more than he should be driving, so he did most of the Feature Race and the full Sprint with nothing but that on. It was a fantastic weekend for us and newcomer Dave.

Frank: I knew I could trust this guy. Since he stopped winning a lot of people showed up to criticize him and saying we should hire someone younger instead. Well, they were partially wrong! Our brand new F550s are ready and will be doing a shakedown run at Snetterton later today before heading to Daytona Bitch.
