Some muy excitante and muy buena (agrega-me in tus f/f) racing took place tonight on the spaniard circuit of Jerez de La Frontera. With lots of battle for positions, Shaka and first-timer Lizard90 were the winners of the event, but not without clawing their way to the top, fighting a fierce tib, who was all over the track and blocking like it was Scorpion pulling a fatality.

Feature race winner was Shaka, who had the fortune of a good strategy and paying his DT first while stuck behind tib, was able to gain the position once tib paid his DT. Lizard, the pole-sitter, had a problem with his speed-limiter and had to serve a stop-and-go penalty for speeding on the pitlane. Which handed first place to Shaka and second place back to tib. Then it was Lizard's turn to be stuck behind the SLT driver, for a good chuck of 5 or 6laps, they banged doors and touched wheels, and it all came down to the last corner of the last lap, where it was a dash to the finish, which tib won by a hair. Results : Shaka, Tib, Lizard.

Sprint race was easier for the new-comer, coming from pole to victory, without hassles and without much issues, and no DT or penalties served to him this time. But the real fun was happening in the back of the field, where Shaka and Tib where battling for the second position like the 79 France GP or 92 Monaco GP, it was muy interessante to watch the two main title contenders have at it, trading painting, making the chinese clocks of the circuit go crazy and marshalls waving blue flags wrongly, it was a remarkable battle, and tib, who was almost 3s slower per lap, was able to hold Shaka for 6 laps, when the brazilian finally made the passing manouver he was over 15s behind Lizard and had no chance of catching the blue Lamborghini. After some weird problem with his Ferrari on start of Lap 7, tib was able to bring it home, about 15s behind Shaka.

Lots of no-show tonights, while we await to see what happened to Pippo and the Mapua boys, the other half of Williams team Dave and former small category (F-1?) champion Mansell.

It was caliente, fantastico and a fiesta on it's on. The very fun Spanish Grand Prix.
